OSHA CFR 29 1910.95 (h) (5) (ii) requires that audiometers be calibrated acoustically (standard calibration) at least annually in accordance with CFR 29 1910.95 Appendix E: "Acoustic Calibration of Audiometers" and CFR 29 1910.95 (h) (5) (iii) requires an exhaustive calibration at least every two years in accordance with sections of the American National Standard Specification for Audiometers, S3.6-1969.

Since the amount of time it takes Sonic to perform a standard or exhaustive calibration is only minimally different, we find it more cost effective for our clients to always exhaustively calibrate your audiometer.
